Music Reviews

Following their 2013 debut, Settle, the dance duo’s second album, Caracal, features Sam Smith, Lorde, The Weeknd and plenty more stars.
The duo have grown up since their debut and followed a mature pathway. They create a really laid back house sound thats easy to grove too without pushing any boundaries. However even though the lads have ditched the mad raver vibe, we have to give them credit for shinning light on up and coming artists like Jordan Rakei, who Guy’s friend uncovered while travelling in Australia.
The dance duo kick start the album with Nocturnal ft. The Weeknd. The song keeps the same moderate tone throughout completely lacking excitement.
The collaboration with Sam Smith is an epic club anthem, well once its been remixed. Smith’s vocals fit smoothly with the electronic synths, creating a great, exciting vibe while the music slowly builds up the subtle drop.
