Ex One Direction member, Zayn Malik has announced his first single of his solo album, ‘Pillow Talk’ the track will be released on 29th January 2016.
Malik decided to leave the insane world of One Direction in 2015, and after many months of silence he finally spoke out to The Fader about why and what was planning,
“I don’t feel like people really know what I’m going to give them, musically. And once they hear it, I feel like they will understand me a little bit more, and they’ll understand why I did what I did, and why I left the band, and why I had to write this shit down. Because for five—not even for five years, for ten years, this album has been in my brain, and it’s just been there, sat with me, needing to be out.”
Malik will also be appearing on The Graham Norton Show next Friday along with Will Smith, Ryan Reynolds, Dad’s Army stars, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Toby Jones. However Zayn will not be performing but will more than likely give us some inside gossip on the anticipated single release.

Since Christmas is a grand total of 35 days away, it’s pretty much expected that pop music’s finest will decide to chuck out some yuletide one-offs around this time of the year. One of the first to emerge comes in the form of 2015’s pop-darling Carly Rae Jepsen and a saxophone-smeared Last Christmas rendition.
Teasing the announcement via Instagram and a selection of xmas emoji’s, Jepsen’s take on WHAM!’s fairly familiar Last Christmas is exactly how you’d expect a Jepsen Christmas jingle to sound, flipping the original ballad into a jolly, upbeat affair.
It’s accompanied with some rather un-festive artwork, a giant neon tree and star against a bubble-gum pink backdrop, which means there should be no shame in succumbing to a listen during the other 11 months of the year.
Last Christmas is available to stream and download as of today (20/11/15).
