The young Merthyr raucous rockers Brad Griffiths (Lead vocals/Guitar), Tom McCarthy (Guitar), Jarvis Morgan (Bass) and Elliot Jones (Drums) have surprised us all with a new EP, demonstrating undeniable confidence and enthusiasm after their last release.
The brand new song ‘Blister’ is an awesome alternative classic. Lasting up to nearly 4 minutes, it incorporates incredibly infectious guitar riffs, alongside mighty lyrics, perfect to blast and rock out to. The rich combination of pacing percussion and building guitars making it relentlessly gritty. Frontman Brad Griffiths’s rough and boisterous vocal line, certainly exaggerates teenage exuberance. Their songs never fail to expose a vigorous and eager determination throughout, especially shown in this new track. The video for it is said to be released on Friday.
Their last breakthrough track ‘Cave Song’ immensely helped the four piece cement their status, a position which just keeps on growing. It comes as no surprise as they have previously supported bands such as Nothing But Thieves and Manic Street Preachers, as well as headlining the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury last year.
The band have recently finished recording their album with the help of Oasis producer Owen Morris, due to be released early next year. They are also supporting Ocean Colour Scene on their December UK tour! No doubt they will have many festivals dates soon to announce, as this summer was jam packed with many including Y Not Festival, Bestival and Victorious.
