Bloc Party have been announced to headline the NME Awards Tour that kicks off on the 29th January in Cardiff. The band are releasing their new album, ‘Hymns’ just ahead of the tour.

Alternative rock band Drenge have also been revealed as one of the support acts, the boys are really starting to make a name for themselves since exploding into the mainstream music scene in 2013 with their single ‘Bloodsports’.

Joining Bloc Party and Drenge on the famous tour is up-and-coming Essex lad, Rat Boy who seems to be all over the London music scene at the moment with his indie, hip-hop rock influenced music. And finally completing the bill with some Manchester grime, MC Bugzy Malone who has already been featured on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s live lounge.

The diverse lineup has sparked a lot of excitement with fans by showcasing some of the newest game changing artists which wont be underground for long.
