SINGLE REVIEW: TRC – Come Bring It ft. Natz / You & Me ft. Ruth

trc

TRC has produced grime recently, working with the likes of P Money, but here he delivers some old-school UK 2-step with some deep, nasty baselines. Come Bring It has a classic Garage vocal, pioneered by Wookie with its late 90’s R’n’B feel, partnered with a baseline more akin to dub step due to it’s jumpy nature and higher pitch.

You & Me is more traditional 2-step sounding with a sweet vocal and baseline guaranteed to keep you moving. On the B-Side the legendary EL-B provides a remix not to missed. TRC hails from Worlverhampton and is part of a movement in the north of England bringing out really strong UK Bassline at the moment. Garage is on the up and we should enjoy it before it get ripped out the underground to be played to pricks with t-shirts of cities they’ve never been to.
